i reckon auto trader should follow the grain and do without chav language, its really irritating!! its a kind of like black slang thats coming into our language, or street speak. no , im not being racist, far from it.

You missed: by (buy), where (were) and all punctuation. Sorry, no offence, but this is a pet hate of mine too. The one that really annoys me is the use of brought instead of bought.

who are we to say that folks who register on this forum and post regular must have a firm grasp of spelling and grammar?

isnt that a backwards way of thinking? not taking into account that their could be an underlying disability?

Fair thought Rhys, but for me, people's responces are aimed at general spelling aswell, of which mine is crap :lol:
I know you can use spell checker, but i am not the sharpest tool in the box where computers are concerned :oops:

im all for the queens english as are most of the older members, but it is ignorant not to embrace change :!:

i have been a member on this forum for a fair while now and have some good friends. but i look forward to the shift in dynamic, and the ever changing questions new members bring :!:

some of you lot should pull your heads out of your arse an realise you were at some point a newbie

Personally i don't use txt talk even in txt messages, I'm just not a fan.
I feel the youth need to maintain good levels of the English language.

Agreed on the newbie question, but i think its like that on a number of popular forums simply because the existing members are all very friendly.
