Could we have one of the systems where the image gets re-sized automatically and only goes full size only if you click on it.
From time to time I'm scrolling down a thread and the image is just too big for my resolution.

Get a bigger screen
They normally take more time to load as there loaded on the site rather than held else where

If they are too big for your screen, increase your resolution. If your screen or gfx card can't handle it, upgrade 
If your ip isn't fast enough, upgrade. If you can run an atr, you can run better ICT Not being funny, but surely it's easier for you to upgrade than it is for a fair few many more to downgrade?

My connection is just fine.

I'm not increasing my resolution, any bigger and i will need glasses to see my icons.

You could try a different browser, I use Opera which has a "resize to width" button and scales everything perfectly.

I was actually thinking of posting something like this up myself a few days back.
At work I have a 17" TFT with a 1280x1024 screen res and at home a 22" Wide-screen. Both are big enough and some of the images are a bit OTT in size for a forum to be honest, and makes the topic tacky.
Glad to know that there will be an update soon and If you need any help in getting the new forum up and running please drop me a PM. Though to be honest I have no experience with setting up Invision Power Boards. Only PHPBB. But ill have a go (With out braking anything. I usually copy all of my work as a back up before I make any changes. Just in case it goes tits up.)
