Trouble with the forum Long loading times between pages

Hi,

Not sure if this is just me, but came back to this forum about 3 weeks ago and this site is now taking an age to load pages. I'll click on something that I want to read and have to wait anywhere between 22 seconds and 2 minutes 49 seconds for it to load!

Yes, I broke out the stopwatch to time the loading times, bit sad, but I wanted some numbers before I posted here. And that 22 second example was a one off, the average time is 49 seconds.

Also while waiting for a page to load, IE locks up so I can't even look at something else while waiting for my desired thread to load. I play Solitaire, which has helped me get my win average up, but still, it can take 15 minutes to read a 5 page topic with 2 minute loading times between pages.

Not had this kind of trouble with any other website, anyone got any suggestions please!

I run CCleaner daily, but hasn't helped out here.

Weird, from work and at home this forum is pretty fast if not instant to load at the moment for me.

I would say it's a local problem or your ISP?

Try Firefox and see if it performs better than IE.

i use firefox, did a recent Ccleaner run, and a de-frag.

Nevermind :) doesnt bother me too much :D

Tis ok on my n95, wii, psp, both laptops and both pc's, on ie, ff, chrome and opera.

Like mentioned you need to clear cache, cookies, and temp internet folder :agree:
