MySQL Database Upgrades
We will shortly be upgrading all MySQL databases from version 4 to version 5.
The upgrade programme will begin on 1st February 2009 and should be complete by 19th February 2009.

Your database will be taken offline for a maximum of 2 hours 30 minutes, while our engineers carry out the upgrade. This will take place overnight (UK time) and we will provide you with notice by email on the day of your upgrade.

Erm, this will happen on a week night, probably between 0000-0600 hours. You think I can just sit up all night waiting for them to finish their work before I roll out the upgrade?

No chance.

When I finally do upgrade the forum it will have to be at the weekend and during the day... I have a job to go to in the week don't you know! :lol:

MySQL Upgrade - 10 February 2009

Databases will be upgraded to MySQL version 5 tonight, databases will be taken offline for a maximum of 2 hours and 30 minutes between midnight and 06:00 (GMT) while our engineers carry out the upgrade.
