I was in Honda today looking to get a service sorted and was told I could get a 10% discount for being a member of the Accordr club. He asked if I had got a card, obviously I don't but how else can I prove that I am a member? :dunno:

Any help on this would be appreciated before service/MOT time next week :agree:

Thanks

Paul

Print of your membership page?

Plus no ones got a club card since they've never been done before. :(

Just look up your name and the page pops up. However it might not be enough for them.

And just design it, they will come. I'd have a membership card if you make one. :agree:

I bet they are referring to the old Honda Revs who in their day had thousands of members and a few discount schemes because of it.

I've tried and we just don't have enough to warrant it. :(

Honda Revs didn't have a niche, they were just Honda and hence had loads of members... but then niche single model clubs opened up and HR dissolved.

Well he said if I could prove I was a member of the "Accord Type R Owners Club" then I could get 10% discount. Seemed like a decent chap, so hopefully it will be fine.

Yup i'd say Honda Revs too, I remember the scheme which was in conjunction with many Honda dealerships but not all though, i've still got my card somewhere!

just saying its cheesy isn't good enough. You have to explain why, else it won't be rectified, but then i didn't expect anything intelligent from you :thebirdman:

It can take up to 10 rough designs until a customer sees something he likes. If however a brief is a good one, generally only one or two would need to be shown, and then further development would be required. There was no brief here, so i just threw it together, like i said, in between jobs.

So, i'll go back to earning £30 an hour then, and f*** this off :thebirdman:

It doesn't need to have a photo, well the old HR one didn't. It just needed to be accepted and in date. It saved me hundreds of pounds in the long run. :D
