I was tempted to stop editing because people can hide their tracks when they've done wrong, so deleting their own is a definite no no!

Editing allows us the chance to rectify typo's and complete pissed up f ups.

I agree though deleting maybe too far :agree:

i just meant it for people that put up a post, usually in the for sale section, and then regret it....

Do you mean the thread starter or someone who has posted in the thread?

Surely if you put something up for sale and regreted it you could edit your post to say so?

If you posted something in a for sale thread that was out of turn then you should have thought before you posted but equally you could edit this and appologise :dunno:

Not really sure where you are going with this suggestion that will improve anything :dunno:
