New owner of 2001 ATR

My name is Paul and i live in Fareham near Portsmouth :agree: .

I would like to introduce myself as the new owner of a 2001 ATR in Satin silver:

This is my 1st Type R having previously driven an '89 16i-16 concerto, 1995 Prelude Vtec, 2005 2.2i-ctdi Accord, back to a '93 16i-16 concerto and now onto the ATR.

I am very very pleased with the H22A7 and feel it is definately a noticable step up from the H22A in my prelude. I also enjoy the presence of the Typhoon induction.

Other than the subtle springs and induction the car is absolutely standard with full Honds History.

I have now owned it 3 days, had 2 Bridgestone Potenzas on the front, new pads and driven ~700 miles and loved every minute.

My Brother has a remapped ITR DC2 which i think is absolutely awesome but i decided to go for something a little different.

I find the car very easy to drive progressively on about 1/8th throttle but absolutely screams in VTEC :wave: .

My only question to you guys is that the headlights are filthy on the inside of the lens :help: . Any ideas how this can be resolved??

a face lift in satin silver good call ;)
i couldn't tell you how to sort them if they are dirty on the inside as they are sealed units, if however the discolouration is on the outside they can be sanded down using fine sandpaper and then going over with a rotary polisher to polish out the scratches :agree:
i'm sure if you search its on here somewhere ;)

Try giving the headlamps a good polish! If you have the time and patients, sand with really fine sandpaper and buff with an abrasive polish until they are nice and shiney :agree:
