I have only taken it for a quick blast and I am rather impressed already, there are a few niggly faults with it I want to address but overall I am really chuffed with the car. Me and the misses have had a few Hondas before, she's had a crx vtec and a ek9 rx whilst I had sir eg6's, one with a b16b and another with a b18c. From my very brief experience with the car out of all of them the atr feels similar to the ek9.
It feels like it needs an alignment setup - Doesn't seem to track that straight and feels like my s14 silvia when that had its alignment all over the shot (wobbly) so I will be looking into adjustable arms first and sort that rattle out.
It's a bit jerky to drive slowly too which usually means new mounts on B-series engines, I don't really know much about the H22a.
I'm from East Devon, anyone else from my area? Whats the deal with membership? I'm a pikey freeloader at the moment but there gold and silver membership whats that all about? I'm a member on SXOC which has been invaluable to guide me to fix my Nissans, hoping this is going to prove just as usefull as I like working on my cars myself. I also do drifting which is one of the main reasons I have bought a front wheel drive car for a daily hack, especially as theres two rather nice roundabouts on the way to work

I seem to remember dreaming about buying your EK9 when it was for sale on EK9.org
Sorry I cant offer much advice, never experianced the things you are asking about.
Pezza's car was spanking, good buy

I did like the ek9, beat an evo 6 around the streetwars mini circuit in it I didn't like the driving position though, I need lower seats and a dishy wheel to drive one of them properly. The accord is much more comfortable but I would still prefer the wheel closer to me because of my long legs.
Yes it is rather nice, such a clean example

There are a few perks to membership, one of them being a member's lounge that nobody ever posts in.
The best perk of silver/gold membership is the current price of Rota wheels from EdLeake- £499 for a set of 17' Lightweight Alloys is a great price.
If you liked the EK9, then you must be an enthusiast.
Some nice modifications can be had at the moment, if your pockets are deep enough.....

Good luck Pezza. Don't spend it all at once.

Thanks for the warm welcome
I have discovered that these atr's are 5x114, exactly the same as my nissans and between me and a mate we have over 40 alloys! Does anyone know what offset and width the standard wheels are? BTW I love the standard alloys especially in the colour pezza has sprayed them which reminds me Jo said he looked like he was going to cry when she drove it away Don't worry mate I might bring it to Japfest next year if you want to see it again, might even take it on track if I've sorted the handling. I am interested to see what it will look like with different alloys so expect some pics soon although I doubt 9.5J ET12 is gunna fit without some serious arch work
Cheers TypeRDan, I'll get it on a ramp and have a good look at the mounts first, think it might be a slightly sticky throttle cable too.
It seems everyone whos into Honda's love the ek9 so here's a few pics along with my old b18c6 eg6 sir2 which sounded mental with the itg maxogen, mugen 421 and kakimoto racing exhaust, it sounded like a cross between a touring car and an f1 car

I can't seem to get it to that size in photobucket
I've tried doing a search to find out where I can get alignment arms but with no luck, does anyone know where I can get some from and who makes them??
Really excited atm as I'm off to wales for the weekend with a mate to do some 100mph+ drifting on a huuuge airfield

Thanks for that
sfxer - Yeah it is smeatharpe when they were holding the streetwars events. Been up there when a staged rally was on, some really interesting machinery there including a 6r4 and rs200. The council won't allow drifting up there unless it is an offical motorsport event i.e BDC, EDC or Prodrift East Devon District Council are Bastids, I only live about 4 miles away from the airfield it would be perfect for some practice days!!! grrrr - Where abouts in Devon are you from?
Havn't had time to do much with the car yet but I definatly need some alignment arms, tried doing a search but couldn't really find where I get some from, anyone know of where I can get some. The car is stable when turning right and very unstable turning left which would be the different camber either side on the back.
Just incase there are any other fellow rwd nutters this is what I've been working on and getting ready for the last couple of weeks, It's my mates car we took it for his first skid day in wales for the weekend, such a cool place and was ideal for him to learn and the car drifts/handles quite well just needs a bit more power (245bhp ATM). It's me driving in both the pic and vid
