welcome :hello2:

Do

drive them like you stole them and keep on top of servicing

Don't

crash them or let them fall apart from under you

Firstly welcome :hello2:

Secondly have a good look around the site as there are loads of useful posts about previous mod's people have done, and general servicing and also ATR 'issues' in the problem section :agree:

Also, there's a section for posting pic's - vids, pics and links and its customary for newbies to post up pics of their cars 8)

Whereabouts in Cumbria are you as there's a few ATR's in the Barrow/Dalton/Ulverston area during the week.......including myself :agree:

:hello2: . Welcome. The first mod you should do is remove the 19s and go back to the 17s and should feel an instant improvement.

If your not concerned about looks then go down to 16s or do what Rhys has done and put on 16s and get it lowered but run then you will have to literally craw over speed bumps.
In times of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

im up for that only i have got blue neons in the shed :/ no green ones
you might have seen them on my old hyundai coupe...
i used to drive up the coast road and pull my mate cars over in the dark flashing the blue ones on and off haha
i will be changing them fairly soon but i want to buy some new seats before i worry about the alloys...

Speak nicely to Paul as he's selling a set of seats for less than the previous owner got for his :agree:

The thread is in the 'Trader' section

If you can collect from Yorkshire and pay cash you may get an even better deal but that's for you and him to discuss :agree:

If i remember correctly, the vtec will only engage when :

1. Oil pressure is adequate
2. Car is in gear
3. Engine/coolant temperature is adequate

It would be a good idea to check oil very regularly, as some ATR's use oil an alarming rate if driven hard.... :o
