Hello

I have been lurking around these forums for a while now but not posted or said anything. Got pointed here by Skywalker after him constantly banging on about ATR's when i said i was looking for a new car for me to get next year.

So after being in his a few weeks ago i want one, now all i need to do is get the funds to pay for the car and insure it should be easy enough(I hope :p )

Only problem i really have is insuring the thing, being 19 when i insure it with only 1 years experience and 1 years NCB means although not massively high the premium wont be too good

i could proabley help you out with the inurance, i was 19 with no no claims when i got my ATR and got insured for a grand

i used bell, try adding your mum, dad, aunt etc to the policy and see what combination gives you the lowest price

make sure your dont enter more annual mileage than you need as this affect price

insuring the car full comp with the excess up full is cheaper than 3rd party

if you say yes to reguarly driving another car this brings price down

also if you cant afford to pay it in one lump sum then get a credit card with an intrest free period and use this

Just tried a few on comparison sites and it dont make much difference, still looking at 2k+ for fully comp insurance. Bell's site isnt working for me at the minute though
