Hi, newbie looking for an SiR-T

Hi, just joined the forum while looking for a JDM 98ish SiR-T.
I've been running MX5's as road cars (albeit FI'd) for the last decade but I'm shortly going to need four doors and the SiR-T is the only thing I'm finding interesting at the moment.
I also have a Mk1 Mini, have had several Mk1 Cortinas and am a keen motorcyclist (I only ride Hondas)
So if anyone knows of a good clean example for sale in the UK or has any info, manuals etc then please let me know!

to be honest SIR-T are not that common over here i saw one selling for 4500 not so long ago, which is alot of money to be honest, the engine is nothing special, im sure its one from a prelude, your best bet ius get a ATR, if you looking to pay 4k is for a SIR-T, that will get you a nice ATR trust me, also the engine is much better aswell, and the interior the list goes on

there is a gem in the sir-T engine ;)


they run a f20b are a cf4 chassis and a lot of the cl1 parts fit...... there are quite a few here in ireland but i don't think many in the UK
MoteC ECU, skunk2 Pro Cam Gears, EGR deleted, Mugen exhaust, Hytech Header, XTD Lightened fly, Exedy Stage 2 clutch, Mugen 5 point adjustable suspension, Chassis Braces all round, Braided Clutch and Brake lines, Spoon Calipers, Endless ns97 pads, 10mm hubcentric spacers, Mugen Airbox

I think its the looks of the cf4 that does it for me, are there any other ~200bhp models that use that chassis?
I can really see the appeal of the ATR but when I tried one it just felt rather heavy, maybe something I could get used to?

nope the cf4 is that, and the CL1 and CH1 aren't as heavy and are more powerful!!!

Where can I find a good source of info / specs so I can stop hassling you guys?
