hello people, been on ths site many a time as a guest lookin at the classifieds coz ive bin after an atr for a while now! but bcoz of the bad timing of the recession i ve had to wait until now to start looking again! ive joined the club bcoz hopefully soon i can be like most of u lucky blighters and have a nice atr to show off! but first things first as seen as you guys probably know more bout the atr than i can ever find out i was just wondering what are the main things to look out for on the atr when buying (age of car is not an issue so as much info on the pre and post facelift models would be very much appreciated).

no i used the search engine but i dont think i found the right guide

Not sure if the guide mentions a split front engine mount but that's a very common issue and is something to look out for/listen for. If you get a small hand mirror you should be able to inspect the side of it with the bonnet open to see if the rubber has split. Also, in most cases there will be a knock on start up and in some cases; when you turn the engine off.

It's an easy and relatively cheap fix by Honda or a cheaper fix with a custom made polybush kit from certain members on here that also has performance advantages.
