Hi guys just bought a milano red pre facelift atr and am loving it. So I thought I would sign up and say hi and ask a quick question which is, I was told That my atr is a lightweight one or something now does such a model exsist or was he just talking crap? I always assumed all atr's are the same? Cheers. Ben

Welcome Ben :hello2: Glad to see you got the fastest colour ATR :agree:

Lightweight - well, the ATR is lighter than a normal Accord due to lots of bits being stripped out of the car. The standard ATR still has a few bits that some people like to go ahead and remove too... like rear seats, door cards, Air Con, electric window motors, lighter flywheel etc etc...

So it could be that it's been stripped more since production. :dunno:

Hiya.

The ATR is already pretty light for its size but they didn't make an even lighter one. :agree:

Nice one thats what I thought but he definitely said it was lighter than a normal atr but clearly was just talkin poo. But I do have to say im enjoying the car more than I thought I would as ive just come over from the world of 200sx and skylines its soo much comfy yet still nimble and fairly nippy. I aint got any pics due to the lack of a camera and the worlds worst mobile so will have to wait for those unfortunately. But thanks for the warm welcome and hopefully I will soon be able to put some useful input into the site. Cheers chaps :agree:

Oh and i soubt its milano if its a pre facelift. dont think i have ever seen a milano pre. Much more likely to be vesuvio red, colour code r502. Now if you want to see a lightweight ATR take a look at mine or little legs . :evil4:
