As you can all see the forum has now been upgraded to the latest software, however I am still in the process of configuring many items in the background so please be patient.

In addition the forum is currently running the default skin as I'm still working on the new livery.

If you do spot any issues or quirks could you please post in here so I can collate a list of issues, thanks. :agree:

Recommendation - UPGRADE YOUR BROWSER TO THE LATEST VERSION.

IE7 seems to have issues with the modern CSS3 style sheets, this will only get worse as more websites begin to use it - this forum does.

Firefox 3.6 runs like silk and is the recommended browser.

Ed, a lot of posts and signatures on my screen are spread over about 4 screen heights. You have to scroll down past loads of blank spaces to get to the next message.

Doesn't happen for everyone's posts, just a few random people.

Also occurs when you try and use the quick reply, it cocks up all the heights. Spreads each letter of peoples old posts onto a new line.

Using IE 8.0 on this laptop.
Hey presto, its a rarebit!

glad to see it's back, even as a relative newbie i was starting to worry :crybaby:

could anyone tell me if there's an option i can choose while searching? before if doing a search i'd get thread titles, now i'm getting maninly posts and the same threads appearing. i'm sure it's an easy option and i'm just being a numpty

edit. ignore the above question, just have to go to the advanced option and select thread titles :evil4:

Two quick screen caps for you Ed,

- Another issue is that I cannot press the Image button in Fast Reply, it just takes me back up to the last post if I try and click on it. -

This is the top of you original post, and then the end of it, with Andy's post next.

Take a look at the scroll bar on the right hand side of the screen, its just blank space in between!
Hey presto, its a rarebit!

I was looking for that too.

Also as per mremerica, all the Mods posts have acres of white space added which also causes page to load slowly.

Scrolling over the Add Reply button causes the page to re-format and go srewy with words from previous posts stacked on top of one another (don't even get chance to click it). Only way to reply to a topic seems to be to use the 'reply to post' button.

A few quirks are to be expected. Not complaining, just offering observations. looking forward to the new skin.

I'm guessing this only shows results since your last visit to this version of the site. So if this is your first visit since the upgrade you only get new posts since the time of logon.
