thanks for being so welcoming I thirst off think that they are a near match because the civic you are so close to the bonnet so it feels that you are going faster when your not really also the general build quality of the accord is much better It handles on the road like a fast car should

I am 20 and in the civic felt that I had to be in v-tec all the time to get noticed whereas in the accord I can cruise at slow speeds and chill but when I want to floor it I can Atr all the way. Ps I am paying lots to insure this baby and look forwards to meeting you guys at some future meets

There is a big meet coming up at south mimms. Mostly civics, but there will be a few of us in accords flying the flag.

reviews of the civic vary, in my experience. One of my friends reckons they are better than the accord, but can't explain why he prefers it! :dunno:

another friend describes civics as 'gutless'. I've never driven one but probably will do eventually..... :agree:

well I sum it up in the way that the ep3 is like 16500 new the accord is like 22000 which they didn't cut corners I mean my own civic was a 52 plate although the k20 was.a good engine the car didn't even have an LSD and the accord was made 3 years before the ep3 my own personal view is Honda cut corners to make the civic competitive on price

welcome along fella! :hello2:

well done on your purchase!

i have driven both of these and quite frankly the ATR is the superior machine.. :evil4:

although the EP3 is how can i say "easier: to drive, the Accord takes a bit more practise (used to drive along with a mate whose a CTR owner, soon after i got mine, and TBH he alwats managed to get in front etc.. but after i learned the ATR's dynamics, perfect shifting etc.. it was see ya later matey!)

Defo agree with the build quality issue.. SOLID!

learn you way around it, should be easier for you considering you've had VTEC experience..its so rewading when you perfect it...

:agree:
I'm so JDM..Tein make my Bed Springs
