internet keeps crashing when opening topics

A little help dont know whats going on wether my IE version is correct or what bascially every time i open a topic the internet explorer crashes (not responding) is there anything i can do to stop this as is very annoying,

Hi Roy, can you let me know which version of IE you have (click Help> About Internet Explorer)?

It's very likely you need to upgrade to version 8. :agree:

yeah its version 6 its in work so dont know if i can upgrade, that would be the prob then

Ah! Version 6 is rather old and doesn't support new features of this forum (and other websites for that matter) - tell your IT staff to pull their fingers out! :lol:

You can use Lo-Fi at work (bottom left hand corner drop-down menu), it just removes all the fancy polish/graphics but still leaves all the topic content and pictures - it's also a bit faster. :agree:

Mike just install IE8 and it will be fine, I did the same on my work Laptop and it's like a knife through hot butter. 8)

cool i'll try it :agree: does the extrra long moderators posts shorten up aswell?

i just deleted Antivirus Live virus and am just paranoid that my computer is not the same anymore:oops:

just updated to IE 8 but when i hit thwe add reply on the bottom it gets goofy on me but if i hit add reply @ the top it's okay.

all sorted now just did it through firefox could not get IE 8 with out admin only have 7 but all good now
