hi, everyone im steve and am hopfully looking to buy a atr when my current steed (bmw 320d touring) sells (if it does) looking to get into a sporty car again so i thought i would give a atr ago, ive come on here to look for advice so i don't end up buying a sh@tter, is there any where on here i should be looking for info? ive already found but not read yet the buyers guide.

Buyers guide is a great place to start, a long with the For Sale section as there are a few owners cars in there at the moment
May also be worth letting us know what area of the country you are, so that perhaps a current owner may be able to come with you when you go to check one out It is always worth the ask

Think there's a couple of forum owners out your neck of the woods

Just have a nosey in the problems section, and I think Ed (forum owner) has recently compiled a list of common faoults/niggles (whatever you want to call them) which again may help

Welcome to the site.

I used to live in southrepps, near Cromer many moons ago. I done a small tour (5 hours) of norfolk on the Gixxer last year too.

If you want see what ATR's can do, then pop over to snetterton on March 6th. One of us can probably offer you a passenger ride around the circuit.

I moved back to North-East London about 20 years ago.

I decided to rent the gixxer * and pop back up to southrepps to see my old house that I lived in as a kid (nostalgia )
The roads are great around there and won't mention the speeds that I hit on some of the B-roads.

You are probably not far from RAF Marham in that case. we had an awesome trackday there last October.

yep had hot hatches of sorts must of my life, i had a volvo 850r mapped running big turbo and fmic before that, i tried to be sensible but heho, the dog will just have to get used to the back seat.
