Hello all

Just thought i'd introduce myself. I bought Keith Rann's old ATR off Yasin (Turkish) today. It was one of the quickest car purchases I've made. Went to see it and it was just as described, in really excellent condition, so less than an hour later I was driving off in it. No point in messing around!

I'm coming from a VX220 so the ATR is quite a different beast. I wanted something a bit more practical and usable day to day and within the budget that I'd set myself, the ATR seemed the best choice.

So far, I've not had chance to form much of an impression of the car as the drive back consisted of motorway cruising. I can say that it sounds mental in VTEC though!

I'm quite a keen trackday'er and have been fortunate enough to drive some pretty cool stuff on various circuits so I'm looking forward to doing a few in the ATR.

Anyway, thats me!

Thanks for the welcomes.

Yeah the ATR feels a lot bigger than the VX and a lot higher as well.

The RAF Marham trackday sounds like a good idea. £70 is cheap and i've never done one on an airfield before. Its the week after my birthday too so would be a nice present to myself! Think I'll put my name down.

I can honestly say that I had more fun at RAF Marham than at Rockingham. It's a great day out with some nice cars about and the staff/marshallers are a good bunch. :agree:

you'll easily hit 145mph on the straight (runway) and its open pit. ;)
