Hi everyone,

My name is Dirk, 25 years old and living in the Netherlands.

I've just bought my '99 championship white Accord type R (nr. 45/50) and i'm picking it up at the dealer in about 2 weeks. I've been driving a green Honda Civic (Ek3 hatch, 1.5L Vtec-e) for the last 3 years.

I already was a fan of Honda's but after my brother traded his '99 Impreza GT Turbo 555 for a 2003 Honda Civic Type R (30th Anniversary) i really needed to get something faster than the 115bhp EK.

I came across this ATR at an official Honda dealership and it was traded in the same day i bought it.
During the testdrive i really fell in love with this car, the handling and the engine where superb!

I regisitered to this forum because there are nog specific ATR-forums in the Netherlands, except for the Type-R forum.

I've also included some pictures. I think you'll like them.

You will find Frans on here (Katana) is also from the Netherlands and has a wealth of knowledge on Honda's and ATR's specifically. He is also an absolute gentleman :agree:

Car looks awesome mate. Absolute crime that Honda didn't sell the championship white ATR in the UK. By a clear mile (or 1.61km) the best colour. :agree:
