Hi guys.

I am not your typical Honda Accord owner.

Back in 08 i and my wife bought a 08 auto Civic Lx, and a 08 auto Ex Accord....the 4-cylinder one, not the V6, got a good deal on it.

And then there is my toy race car, it a 98 Cx 6 speed 6-cylinder Civic Hatch.

Anywho, just joined to see and learn more about the Accord Type R, i have seen only 2 of these cars in the U.S. and they really took my breath away.

I am not a big Accord fan.....because if you guys see what these new cars look like and how much they weight you would understand, and i am talking about the U.S. Accords, not the overseas verison's.

Ill post some pic's latter.

Welcome aboard. The Civic looks like a lot of fun :)

You've seen 2 ATR's in the US?! I'd heard they were tricky to import, there are a few other US people around these forums too, Mike (USDM-ATR) is doing some work on his Accord to make it more type-rish :)

Yea, 2... one was used only for track use in N.Y., i have no clue where this car is now or how he got it because it was a 1 day thing.

The other i saw upclose was a 02 Red ATR RHD at a Honda Day this year, he had no plate's on it so i could not say it was on the road or anything, i tryed to find the owner but my wife didnt want to sit there untill the dude came back.

So my brother just got a job at a pick and pull that ships cars from Japan and the U.K., so i thought maybe i could pick one up, but before i start to ask for a car, just want to check out more about these cars.
