K&N Panel Airfilter fit by Vtec-Direct.
Decat fit by Vtec-Direct.

Extra Info:
The overall condition of the car is very good for its age. Doesnt have FSH but does have many receipts to cover all work done during my ownership i.e Lookers Honda and Vtec-Direct. Plus many other previous to my ownership.

New cam belt fitted at MOT time, March 2010, at Vtec-Direct along with all neccessary tensioners etc, at around 144775 miles.
New clutch at same time and milage along with new slave cylinder and fluids.
New air, fuel & oil filters by Vtecdirect in March 2010
Coolant change by Vtec direct March 2011
Engine oil change by Vtec-Direct May 2011( and every 6 monthly/6k miles before this)
New rear drivers side caliper by Vtec-Direct March 2010
New rear ferodo pads and grooved and vented discs by Vtec-Direct March 2010
New EGR Valve by Vtec-Direct April/May 2010
Tyres all very good condition, all Falken 452 215x45x17

Gearbox was rebuilt in the August of 2008 with receipts to prove at a cost of £580 by Tameside Transmissions. So no 5th gear synchro issues here!

The decat was fitted at Mot time and gives a nice sound and a bit more lower revs torque, and I'm sure a few bhp.

The engine is tighter than it's ever been since Andy sorted the above and the balancer shaft. The interior is in very good condition. I also regularly treat the ATR to my own valet to keep the pirates black paint in as good condition as possible, but being 11 years old it has the associated stone chips.

What work was done reference the balancer shaft and why?

What fuel do you run it on?

I am very tempted, only thing putting me off is the mileage, should I be worried?

I was new to the ATR and Honda, and made the mistake of taking it to the stealers. Mistaken belief that they would be able to do ANY work I needed doing to it.

As it happens I owned it for nearly 19 months before I took it to Andy at Vtec Direct, and he informed me that the stealers had the balancer shaft a few teeth the wrong side of good. He put it all right and the ATR ran smoother than ever from there on in.

Under my two and a half years of ownership it's always been run on Shell V-Power.

As for the milage, ask around, people will tell you that as long as ANY car ha been looked after milage won't be an issue. I once owned a Mondeo with interstelar milage without issues.

Jesus Dan, you have me tempted there too.... The missus is taking my BMW 530d sport off me next month. Her Focus is going to be for sale next week, so I might have a gander. It will be subject to insurance quotes though, I've just sorted insurance through Chris Knott with both cars, he was by a country mile far cheaper than any of the compare sites. So for that matter, I'll give Chris a tinkle and see what's what. The mileage doesnt frighten me either, my derv has 165k... and my last PB ATR had 113k when I sold it to Paul from darn south! And Baz's has around 210k now.
