Unfortunately due to me being made redundant about 8 weeks ago and now only working part time i have no option but to sell my beloved ATR. I have owned it for nearly 5 years now and is the only car i have kept for over a year. I have really enjoyed owning it and wish i could keep it but with the missus also having passed her driving test over 8 months ago she is wanting to drive something as well so will now be in the search of something with a smaller engine althogh i have a vti to drive if this sells.

2001 51 Nighthawk Black.

121655 miles (this will go up as is in daily use)

Folder packed full of receipts mainly Honda as it has full Honda Service History upto 110,000. After that it is all VTECDIRECT. Last was service just done by myself which was just oil and hamp filter (used some top notch Motul oil supplied by Andy which has made the engine really quite). Also will have new caliper fitted (recon) by the weekend and just waiting on Andy to come down to Bury with some recon injectors and brake pads.
Service before that was done by Andy at VTECDIRECT and was only around 5000 miles ago and included new oem clutch, timing belt kit and auto tensioner, new primary o2 sensor,new spark plugs, motul xcess oil, hamp oil filter and amsoil gearbox oil. Total costing £660.

I am only the second owner and the first owner was a doctor.

Car has mot till January 2011 and tax till end of January 2011.

Comes with spare key and spare fob.

All the usual ATR refinements.

Very clean interior.

Lightweight flywheel (oem included)

4.64 final drive (original included)

Bonnet resprayed to remove stone chips)

Manifold and downpipe heatwrapped with Thermotec Cool It

Had a new exhaust flexi fitted.

Nice kenwood bluetooth stereo with usb and handsfree phone connection.

Type R Wallet

Car is usually washed once a week and polished,waxed and finishing polised about once every three months. I have spared no expense since owning the car.

Bad points

Has the odd car park dent but nothing really that visible
Very small stone chip in windscreen which has been treated by autoglass

A friend of a friend scraped my drivers side wing and damaged one of my aftermarket wheels but i got him to replace the wing.

Wheels are white and could do with a refurb.

Just to add in the last 1000 miles or so it has also had:

Front drop links

track rod ends

front arb bushes.

Other things it has are:

Front wind deflectors

front and back mud guards.

If any of you have noticed the type R badge on the back is on the wrong side, this was done by previous owner to cleverly hide a very small dent.

Just been washed, clay barred, washed, polished and then carnuba waxed. Pics added to first post.

Had new brake lines fitted
new pads all round
4 newly refurbed wheels.
Both front upper wishbones
Oil change Motul xcess 8100
oem oil filter.
Wheel alignment

Clutch bearing has started to make a slight noise now only if you really concentrate to listen to it though.

shame Im really after final drive, I do not experience synchro issues with mine.

That's very cheap and by all accounts looks like a bargain.

I'd be tempted to break at anything lower than that price. The seats have to be worth at least £100, flywheel £100+, m-factory final drive (already fitted) & gearbox £500+. Engine - £???. the bodywork/paint also looks in good condition.
the bonnet, bootlid, spoiler, panels and bumpers should be worth a fair bit. Sorry to hear about the job, by the way.

Yeah not dropping price any further. I want to k-pro the k20 Teg thats parked in my back garden. Going away next week and will be away for 4 weeks (woo hoo) so would like it to be sold before i go. If not sold will break once tax runs out.

Oh yeah Stux i lost my job when i posted up the ad originally which was a while back now but have been working now for nearly a year now at a m.o.t station. Thanks for your concern.
