I have had this car for nearly 4 years and pains me to sell her but its time to move on and to buy a house. The Engine has just touched 120K.
The car had a full Honda service history until 86K. The cam belt was then changed also at 98K. From then i have used the services of Andy From VTEC DIRECT in Winsford which has got a good reputation for every thing Honda. Honda say to change the oil every 9k and use Castrol GTX, i dont think that this oil is good enough for the Vtec, since owning the car the oil has been changed every 6k and i have use either MOTUL 8100 X-CESS 10-40w or Silcoline 10-50w. Two to great grade engine oils, and along with this Redline gearbox oil in every service. The car is far from standard with carefully chosen modifactions for the car which mainly focuses on power and the best parts avaiable. I bought the car standard so i know wat has been changed and modified.

k&N TYPHOON INDUCTION KIT. (This is the long arm which sits the cone filter behind the fog light out of the engine bay to reduce heat soak)
VTEC DIRECT CUSTOM RACE MANIFOLD (4-2-1) ( this is also heat wrapped for heat soak, which works very very well.)
VTEC DIRECT DECAT
MONGOOSE EXHAUST (Includes down pipe from the manifold, and Decat back full system)

LIGHTENED PULLIES SYSTEM FROM VTEC DIRECT, INCLUDE CRANK, ALTINATOR AND AIR CONDITIONING

MAGNICORE K95 IGNITION LEADS

THE WHEELS ARE THE STANDARD ACCORD TYPE R 17" ALLOYS ABUT HAVE BEEN POWER COATED IN A ONE OFF COLOUR. (Honda Athelete Grey, i have not seen any other
car with these colour wheels before)

The car has recently undergone a power dyno run at a local tuning Garage A&B Motors in North Wales and from the run the car produced:


208 Bhp at the wheels
245 BHP at the Flywheel

This is very good power from a car that was 209 Bhp at the Flywheel from standard.
The peak power is made at 7700 RPM

They also comtented that the Fuel to Air ratio was spot on for the cars modification and age.


The tires on the car are brand new and have only covered about 500 miles as they where changed before the winter,
I use toyo proxes TR 1 all around, in my opinion are a good tire for handling. (215/40/17 Tire and rim size)

All the interior is standard, which includes electric windows pack in the rear, the car has air condtioning to. The car has an MOT til November 2011, and the tax runs out and the end of January however i will put another 6 months Tax on the car or it can be negotiated in the price.

I am the 3rd owner of the car,and the chap before me stored the ATR in a garage during ownership and so have i, to preserve it.
Since i have had ownership it has only received top grade super unleaded fuels.
I am a member of MCR-VTEC.CO.Uk and ACCORDR.ORG so you may have seen this car in some of the organised meets, it has also had a small feature in Japanese Performance last Jan.

THe car has a private plate which will be included in the sale T22 HON.

I would say the condtion of the car is very good and will struggle to find one in this condition, the only thing that lets it down is the front drivers seat as the bolster is worn, and where i have been getting in and out of the car with my feet, a vey small amount of paint has worn away.


The engine bay is very clean and well maintained and i am very proud of it and the way the car looks, as it always gets regonition where ever i take it. The paint work is very good to, with regular washing and using the right products, E.t.c Dodo Juice, Auto Glim and Megs. I also have it detailed twice a year by Karl from the Extra Mile in Manchester, very professional Person and service.


The Price is: £5100


I just hope that whoever buys it has the smile on there face has i have had the last 4 years.

I can confirm this is a very very clean car, goes very well and is a credit to Andy, never ever scrimped on it, best of everything everytime.
Sad to see you selling Andy, bloody good car, you will end up wanting another soon enough lol.
