Hey guys as a few of you may of read i was told a cople of weeks ago that my engine sounds like it has a pistonslap when she is cold. This obviously was like recieving a kick to my balls. Anyway it would either mean an engine swap or rebuild, both options expensive. So either going to save up for a new accord wont be as quick or flash but i do love the look and 190 BHP from the 2.4 I-VTEC type s will still be fun. Or might even go for another type r. Anyway ramble ramble im either going to strip this one and sell for parts ( dont wanna at all ) or wondered if anyone was looking for a project and would want to buy her as is now.
She starts fine slight noise from the engine then goes, once engine temp is nice and warm no noise at all drives well, i havent been Driving her that hard recently but she still pulls like a train in VTEC.

Not sure where to put this thread (sorry) as i know its sort of a for sale ad but there we go please move if needed.

Sorry paul i added another post or i thought i did called project giving some details on her.
There is 140 000 on the clock she has been looked after very well by myself i feel which is why im so surprised its encountered this kind of problem. Oil levels are always spot on using 8100 motul full syn. The car is alway taken up to temp before engaging VTEC but i guess im just a bit unlucky.
Car is washed weekly and polished every month at least once.
Interior is in good condition drivers seat has a burn hole where your sholder rests ! was there when i got the car and no type r matts anymore as they were a state so just have some all black rubber ones in.
Ariel went a few months ago so have replaced it with a small rubber matt back one ( but not connected up yet ).
Wheels were refurbed about 4 months back in white. Looks nice with a pirates black car ( pain to keep clean ). HA
Dont want to break her would rather someone fixed her as a project.

Looking for £1200 ONO

I look forward to the day when i can buy another one but at this point in time it just ent going to happen.

I have a really really nice 2005 Accord Sport ( 2.0 K-Series ) with 85k, half leather, cruise control etc etc, really nice car.

Id do you a p/x against yours, money my way of course.

Hi ANT the gear box is fine had the 5th gear done before i purchased her.
she runs and drives well, as well as can be expected with the issue.
