Could we all chip together to obtain one or two White or black popup Gazebos. I or some one else will then get the accord type-r logo in medium size to be stick onto the front and back or all around it or what ever.... I think black is our best bet.

Two major ones every year which is japfest and we are starting our own local Dorset and Hampshire one down here every so often or when ever its on.

I know we have bits already but for some reason they do not get to the main events (japfests) which is very upsetting. I don't mind looking after them and shipping them to were they are needed as I attend most major meets. (not ace cafe though.)

The marquee I bought for Japest '07 (I think it was 2007) has perished in one corner from I can only assume moisture, it's stored in the shed and cost £400. Can't say I'm too impressed. :(

I found the Japfest banner recently, I've moved house and lots of stuff has gone walkies but I stumbled across the banner recently so we still have that. :agree:

So, who get's to keep it in their garage and replaces it at their own cost when it rots :p

Oh, and who pays postage for getting it to and from events that the "keeper" is not able to attend?

:agree:

It would cost a fortune to ship, the one I bought packed up was still 5ft tall and weighed about 25-30kg.

Paying £20 per member is not for nothing mate..... (web hosting, domain name, PC running if your hosting internally, time for maintenance, o and for gazebo and flyers :) cough shipping cost maybe? )

:agree:

I dont mind looking after it tbh. I just need to know were its going and when its going. It would be checked over before sending out too and also checked on received. But I was looking to use these for our matchams meets and also maybe ace cafe and also japfest meets. I will always attend the japfest meets till i sell the car which will be never. Ace cafe meets maybe ill turn up or just met Poppie Pete at fleet?

Up the road from me there is a place that does printing and alike at a good cheap good cost. I have asked them and they will be getting back to me.

Why would you want a Gazebo for the ACE? :dunno:

Plus is Poppie Pete me as I'm only 5 miles away from the ACE! :evil4:

And Tin Tin's even nearer!!! :D

Nice to see neither of our leaders are at all bothered about the appearance of our car club. That says it all doesn't it.

Not really as I've already asked Ed about the old club banner and go to most of the big events. :D

Its not that its just the fact of the number of people attending the shows is dropping everytime. yes it would be good to have a gazebo i just cant see people dipping into there own pockets for it.

Well they don't mind dipping £10/£20 a year into paid membership do they now....

Don't worry chaps.... I have already got some quotes and they are cheap enough for my own pocket to buy.... but for Rising Sun UK and not ATR.org as no ones really interested any more with club events..
