Well after getting a new job with extra travelling and having to have a major home heating system overhaul which I now have to pay for so I have to sell my Accord Type R.
Its a 2000 W Reg Preface lift in silver with 122,120 on the clock and is unmodified and is fitted with A/C.
There is 8 months MOT and 6 months tax and its HPI clear.
There is part Honda service history and receipts for all the work I have carried out since I got the car in September 2010.
The car is in good condition for a car thats going to be 12 years old this year and drives great with no smoking and changes gear nice and smoothly.
In September 2011 at 119,000 I replaced the following parts myself as I am a Honda trained mechanic.
Castrol Edge 5W40 engine oil and Honda oil filter.
Gearbox oil changed with Honda MTF3.
Brake and Clutch fluid flushed.
Full cambelt kit with the following items replaced:Cambelt,Balance belt,All Idler pulleys ,Auto tensioner,Camshaft seals,Water pump,Crankshaft pulley bolt and Alternator and power steering belts.
Valve clearances adjusted.
Thermostat and coolant flushed.
Main Vtec housing to cylinder head o-ring.
Intake camshaft rear cylinder head seal.
Genuine Honda Battery.
Rear anti roll bar mounting bushes.
And last week I have had the starter motor reconditioned.
As with everything there are a few bad points.
The lacquer on the rear spolier has cracked.
The front bumper has the usual stonechips on it.
The drivers seat base outer bolster has some bobbling on it.
The passenger seat base has a 5p sized button attached to cover a small hole in the cover.
Sometimes the aerial will not retract fully.
As always there are a few age related marks and scratches on the car but over all the condition of the car is very good and I have made sure the expensive full cambelt replacement job has been carried out.
