Hi everyone I'm kinda putting my feelers out for my ATR which I have owned since August last year. I'm flying to Afghanistan for 6 months at the end of March and I'm not sure if I should just leave her sat on the drive for that length of time. Seems a shame. The tax is up at the end of the month too. Couple that with 6 months of insuring the car when it's not being driven and another baby on the way I'm wondering if it ought to go.

She's a completely unabused, totally standard example and only done 68000 miles. I haven't had any problems since I've owned the car and I've changed the front pads (got an invoice for this). She has a full service history partly from Honda and the rest from a local garage. I can provide more information upon request if there are people interested. I'm in no real rush to sell the car but if someone came along who was genuine then it would go. I paid £3300 for the car in august last year so think £3000 is reasonable. I can tax the car too if that would help the sale. But anyway if you want more information or to see it then pm me or post on here. Thanks. Oh I'm in Norwich too. If you want to see the car check out my profile.

Yes sorry meant to get some up earlier but had a busy week. Also cambelt was done at 55k and the MOT is due in July. Also car has covered 68000 not 67000.

Hey thanks. She is a beauty that's why I bought her and aside from the obvious cosmetic stuff you'd expect from a 12 year old car it is in great shape. Uh not sure I mean I wasn't really looking for anything because I'm not going to be around for the next 6 months but depending on what it was I may be interested so surprise me what you got?

Car is still for sale and now has 6 months tax. Mileage is still on the up and is due to tick over 69k miles in the next week or so.

Thanks for the offer mate. Looks good. Possibly be tempted but unless someone comes with the cash I think I'm just going to keep her now. Had a few calls from it being on piston heads but no one serious. It's only a few weeks till I go away now. So think I'm just going to have to get the mrs to give it a good thrashing once a week or so whilst I'm gone.

Oh and she's now over 69k miles.

Tenbapps, used to leave his parked up whilst he was away with work. He could get different insurance whilst it was parked to save on costs. Might be worth sending him a message to ask what he did. Just an option

Cool thanks for the advice I'll drop him a line. Cheers guys. I'll keep my head down and make sure I come back with enough legs to drive my car. :evil4:
