Unfortunately for sale, my 2000 Honda ATR, which I’ve owned for over 8 Years now.
184750 miles. Taxed and tested until June. Engine needs some tlc as there’s an oil leak and the engine light is on. Tdc sensor seems to be the fault. I can reset the warning but it comes up again after about 20 miles. Wondered if it might be covered in debris and giving a non reliable signal.(have changed both lambda sensors) Exhaust has started blowing. Suspect it’s a joint or crack as it lessens as the engine warms up. Timing belt and tensioner done at 130000 miles. Also changed in recent year are front upper wishbones, knuckle joints and bearings. Rear suspension arms and callipers, discs and brakes. Clutch was changed four years ago but release bearing has always made a noise. Screen replaced last year(shame I picked up a stone chip last month).
Had the bonnet and wings resprayed a few years ago costing around £500. So looks great when cleaned. Bumper has suffered from stone chips. No rust apart from drivers door pillar.(which you can’t see externally.) Wheels could do with a refurb. Nice tidy interior. No issues with the gearbox.
This has been the best car I’ve owned and has never let me down. It all original and hasn’t been tampered with. I’ll be sad to see it go but the fuel price has finally got the better of me as I do a 100 mile commute.
This will be a great car for the enthusiast that has time an effort to get it back to its best. Would hate to see it broken for parts.
