Hi, my sisters shitty golf has had an engine light on for about a year, relating to the egr . I have replaced it, it worked for a couple of days then the light came back on relating to the egr again. So sent that one back thinking it was faulty , put the new one in and it did the exact same thing. Anyone have any ideas? Vw forums are rubbish tbh

I had this on my old 1.4 mk4 - I think the thin black pipe wasn't connected properly or had a split :agree:

Is the thin black pipe on right and has no splits ?
