It is with much reluctance that i have to sell my accord. I have recently lost my job so all toys must go so i can get my life straight and start again. I bought the car in January 2011 and spent the remainder of the year enjoying the car on track before putting it to bed for the winter under a tailor made cover. During 2011 i serviced the car myself twice and sent it to performance autoworks to have an oil cooler fitted.

2012 has been a very expensive time for the car firstly it needed a cambelt which was done by the guys at performance autoworks. The car also needed new discs and pads all round aswell as a new front brake calliper. I fitted all these parts myself and went off to snetterton for a much anticipated track day. Unfortunately the clutch decided to die so a 220 mile trip on the back of an RAC truck was needed to get the car home.

I got in touch with the guys at performance autoworks to discuss my next move and they suggested a ACT clutch without the springs. So i dropped the car off and they fitted the new clutch. However it turned out the reverse gear and synchro was damaged so the box had to come off again to have this problem rectified. Since then the car has been to japfest and thats it.

The car will come with 12 months MOT and tax till the end of janurary 2013

Mileage is 67646

I have have 4 silverstone FTZ typr rr tyres to go with the sale (£600+ new)

As you can see i have spent a small fortune on the car this year (£3000, don’t tell the wife!!), it wants for nothing and is ready to go!

I have spare bremtech discs and part worn ds2500 pads to go with the car aswell as alot of other bits and bobs including the tailor made cover.

I have bucket loads of history and receipts to prove how much the car has been looked after by myself and the previous owner.

The drivers seat rail is welded in position for me, the welds would need breaking and redoing on these rails to suit the new owner or you could buy some low position adjustable rails.

The car is not a show car so there are stone chips and a few other scuffs. Nothing major though. I have tried to identify the worst areas in the pictures.

Car is located in Melksham, Wiltshire. Approx 15 mins from junction 17 of the M4

Any questions please ask I am open to px on a cheap car or motorbike.

Sorry to hear about your job Martin

She still looks awesome - gutting that you've spent a fortune keeping her in tip top condition but now can't enjoy her.

Still someone will get a cracking machine :love10:

Good luck with the sale.

Not yet no, however any money is better than having the car sat there not being used. As much as i want to, and on the basis of money spent this year i really want to keep it but i just cannot afford to.
