HI guys just a little hello New ATR owner from aberdeenshire scotland
lovely car while it was running, it cut out on me a few times. car no longer starts noticed the timings slipped and refuses to start and also the timing belt has worn
anyways new belts and tensioner ordered so hopefully no other damage done
shall be postings pics once its up and running again and cleaned

thanks for the reply was just wondering if the h22a7 engine is non interference, as i did have a b18c civic and bent the valve on that when jumping jumped.
anyways abit about my ITR
2000 W plate in Priates Black, white standered atr alloys and stock everything else, no aircon

plans for her lowered on a set of MisterR collis and a set of white 18" wheels
and abit of TLC :)

As far as I know, only below vtec. :agree:

Plus most if not all that went onto 18's went back to 17's for the performance they lost. Unless you only want them for the 'looks'. :D

As far as I know, only below vtec. :agree:

thats good cuase i was struggling to do 50 in 5th gear decided to drop to 4th and see if i cud get it to go any better and it started to back fire and then cut out on me so anoyed only haveing it 2 days :(

i got a good deal on the ATR swapped my mb6 civic vtis + £250 cash for it :) just a shame i cant be out enjoying it today really nice weather up here in aberdeenshire
anyways new belts and tensioners orderd and the guy i got the ATR from is going to fit them for me next week so hopefully be having fun next weekend as i say look out for some pics and some GOpro vids :)

belt seems slightly lose but not 100% sure defently been rubbing againt somthing as its worn from the side its not with width of he cam gears
wasn't in vtec when it happended so hopefully all good

Don't forget to replace the auto-tensioner as well as the bits you get in the Honda service kit. It's a separate part.

The top one DOES NOT include the cam belt tensioner, which is probably the bit that has failed. :cry:

And I will be fitting a manual tensioner when mine is due next year, but not the one from KStuned. :D
