New Euro R owner

Hi all :hello2:

I have been a Honda fan/owner for the last 10+ years, I have owned more than I care to remember.

I currently own a R33 GTR Skyline that I hardly use and a civic coupe for work, the plan was to sell both and buy a daily driver but I accidently :evil4: bought a 2001 White accord Euro R (I had an ATR years ago and always wanted a Euro R)

Only had It a couple of weeks and all I have done is replaced aftermarket wheels with standard wheels, changed oil+filter and fitted a K&N panel filter.

Next few jobs to be done are, gearbox oil, coolant, decat and timing/ballance belts, I have been looking into the h23 tensioner conversion is there any good guides on how to do this???

As to the H23 conversion, I don't think there is a guide? :dunno:

Nice car mate, going by the picture is the colour pearl white as mine is Taffeta white. Did you buy the alloys off ebay, I had my eye on them but you beat me to it.

Yes the wheels came off eBay, and it is pearl white.
There must be loads of ATR'S in the north we should try and arrange a meet!

yes quiet a few changes to it since then and a lot more to come over the winter :)

There ara a lot of ATR's but only a handful of Euro R's. We should definately arrange a meet.

I would personally not bother with the H23 tensioner and get one of these instead http://www.kstuned.c...-H22TT&C=134&S=

That is on my list when i get some adjustable cam gears!

Didn't know you could replace the tensioner without doing the H23 conversion. Has anyone tried this on there motors?

I think Maz from Hond-r has one installed on his CL1 (but not 100%)

Basically you just fit that instead of the H23 kit, two bolts and adjust the tension then it is done!

I have just bit the bullet and ordered one so should know in the next couple of weeks what it's like!
