Looks like a good example, I'd personally get that tow bar taken off, as it would put me off buying a car like that.Glwts

Hi there. Car looks nice but it's quite a distance away from where I live. Do you ever travel towards London?

Hi Chris,

It is and I should add that should I obtain the asking price I will include the all singing and dancing Alpine CD/ipod/Mp3 player with Parrot Blue Tooth and Alpine R front speakers together worth over £ 350!

Dear all, just to let you know that the car is now advertised on Gumtree & Autotrader at £2500.Please do contact me if you are serious about buying an ATR as mine really is a good one for a first time buyer as so much money has been spent on the important bits and not silly suspension etc ! Regards Giles.

That's a bargain considering all the recent work carried out :)

im not sure how much it's worth but if you remove the tow bar, I may be interested in it.

Cheers :agree:

I can't believe it's still for sale mate, I saw this car and thought that's about the right price ages ago. I guess the public don't understand value for money/bang for buck/comparable cars for the money. I'm sure her new owner will be chuffed to bits but we can't sell these cars to the general public can we? They don't understand and everyone will want one when they have all been split. Hang in there and don't give it away.. It looks wicked. I'm sure it's a numbers game, and the new owner will come along when the time is right, not just because its too cheap. Good look with the sale.

WARNING , WARNING , WARNING...

Dear all,

I have never taken this action before but after weeks of texts/e mails/PMs/telephone calls from a Gra2730 ( a new member on here) concerning the potential purchase of my car I have reached the conclusion that he is a time wasting , day dreaming, tyre kicker !

Thus I feel it incumbent upon me to issue a warning to any sellers on this forum to avoid him (Graham) like the proverbial plague...selling cars is hard enough without having to deal with people like him!

Actually I think you will find that I have been completely upfront and honest with you, I share a car with my partner, have 2 children, partner works nights and weekends, you also live 2 hours away.

I will copy my last text to you in:

Hello Giles. Was just about to text then saw you did, phone was on silent so didn't hear it. Hope all is well your end too. Just spoke to my partner just before she shoots off to the gym and we are having a visit from the mother in law today which i didn't know about (standard practise to not tell me) although I would like to get away for 5 hours thats just not going to go down well and looking at a car is not a good enough excuse to get out of that!!! I want to stop messing you around now as its not fair on you, I am finding it really difficult to get down to you, a 4 hour round trip plus whatever viewing time is too much and as I can't think of another day that might be ok so have decided to settle on a one hour maximum travel time. Really sorry to mess you around and sure the car is great and will sell very soon. Just a pity my circumstances don't allow it, looks I will rethink what car I am interested in too to include something more available. Again apologies and all the best and thanks for being so helpful in updating me and pity I didn't get to meet you and the type r. Cheers gra.

I have arranged to meet you 4 times over a period of the time you have had the car for sale and always let you know, as you know work has been hectic, anyone google hugh sexey middle school fire and you can imagine the weeks of hard work I have had to put in.

Sorry you feel that way Giles but to post that on a public forum, apologies were made to you,

Admin please don't remove as I don't mind people seeing this, I have nothing to hide. I don't think I am a dreamer or tyre kicker, I am on all the main Subaru forums, cliosport and have sold cars in 2 of these forums, both with good feedback.

Anyway as stated glwts, am sure you won't need it...shame you had to resort to this...
