New to the ATR - Got a few questions

Hi All,

Got my ATR last weekend and love it to bits. Black W-reg with 66k on the clock. Bit untidy but it goes well enough, and its fun to drive! :D First vtec too :shock:

Anyways, got a few questions I'm hoping some of you can help with:

1 . I need another fob for the central locking. The one I have works but I think I need a spare one. Does it have to be the G8D-452H-A model for it to re-program successfully?
2. I need to take the dash insert out and repaint of cover it (the bit round the dials and radio console part). What colour should it be really? A previous owner has made a complete arse of repainting it. Easy enough to take out too?
3. There is a slight whining noise from engine when its running. I assume thats not normal? I'm thinking water pump or something.
4. The EML is on. Is the plug definitely down in the passenger footwell for the paper clip test? (can't find it). I don't think its anything serious since its still runs fine. Just don't want to spend money on getting a code I can get myself for free.

Any help with the above would be great.
