Hi All,

Thought I'd say hello. My name is Tommy and I'm from West Sussex. I've just brought my first ATR today and still very excited about it.
It's a 2000 ATR in Pirates Black, 80k on the clock with Honda FSH, totally stock with no modifications.

I have some big plans for the car, mainly repairing any faults and getting it back to showroom condition (i.e recon the wheels, pull any small dents and sort out any scratches). It will be a long project! So far all I've done is replace the horrible kenwood stereo with my Sony headunit.
Here are a few snaps from today. They are not the best pictures but I only had my iphone to hand.

Yes definitely some mods in the future. I will have to investigate this Typhoon from K&N. To be honest, I'm new to the Honda scene so I'm not sure what mods are good to do (i.e mods for better running, improvements etc) I like cars to look subtle and have balanced handling and power.

Thanks for the welcomes chaps!

mnaylor I'm Crawley way. Yourself?

It runs well but it's quite tatty on the outside (dent, scratches, wheels need redoing etc)

East Grinstead area, often go to Crawley. Did you buy it locally? I do see a couple driving around this area, don't think they are forum members though.

I got this from Gillingham, north Kent way.
I hardly see any atr's around this way to be fair.

Done a lot of work on the car today, removed and ordered a new camcover from VTECdirect (thanks Andy), removed the egr valve and plate and cleaned, removed throttle body and cleaned, removed airbox and cleaned under area.

What evo do you have skywalker? If I see you ill give you a wave!

How about an aftermarket exhaust system? That is always my first upgrade.

Hi bud, thanks for the welcome.
I don't know to be honest mate, there's no stickers or any indication that it has been. The owner didn't say either. I would be interested to know more about the car if anybody does know.

Welcome mate!

I work in Crawley, on Manor Royal, and my best mate lives in Maidenbower so I will keep an eye out for you.

I saw another Pirates Black one around crawley recently too.

Looks like you have a good base to start on there.

Thanks for the welcome!
The car will be off the road till the end of June as I'm heading to Le Mans this year and using my E46 before its sold. After that though you might see it around. I was driving it around crawley on Sunday?

I gave it a very quick clean last night and the paintwork is dire. I need to go over it with a rotary buffer and some compound 😔
