Crankshaft on CH1

Hi All,

I potentially have a big problem with my CH1 (1999). My mechanic looked at the belts and pulley last night. Definitely need a new power steering belt and an alternator belt. Will also need a new pulley bolt as it has sheared off.

The pulley itself we’re not sure about. Attached is a pic of the my pulley that has come loose. My mechanic isn’t sure if it is a genuine Honda part or not and wondered if you could help please? It has splines/teeth on the inside, although very worn and also has an indentation or ‘key’ around the hole too. Do you know if this is right or is it a botch job?

This leads onto the really big problem. My mechanic has felt inside the crankshaft itself and says it feels smooth. Now, we don’t know if it is meant to be smooth and whether the splines/teeth of the crankshaft have worn away. Would anyone be able to tell me which is correct please?

If you can help in anyway, it would be hugely appreciated.
