Found a project car, a 1993 rare UK supplied RX7 twin turbo with 60000 miles and garaged from new.

It had a full rebuild by the best RX7 engine builders 6 years back and hasn't really been used since, but lain in a rather large garage.

Completely original, no mods. Has full Mazda service history but the service books have got wet and the owner put the original receipts into his company at the time. Shame.

Things it needs;

- Ideally full repaint - some corrosion bits around screens and a scuff along the drivers side wing and quarter (car is still on original paint)
- Brake discs and pads all round to be safe
- New tyres all round (even though the look OK no way am I chancing it!)
- Major service just to ensure all is sound

Positives;

- Rare UK supplied car
- 1 owner and completely standard
- Mint black leather interior (cockpit is STUNNING)
- Rebuilt Wankel twin turbo engine
- All keys, books etc
- Original numbers plates still on car
- 250HP and lots of RWD goodness (chassis is supposed to be amazing)

What do you all think? Worth getting involved?

You never know what may fail but it is a collectible and valuable 20 year old super car!

I really want this as a short term project; in fact, in thinking of selling the ATR to fund it and just run around in my ITR whilst I save and crack on with the work.
