The time has come to reluctantly sell my pride and joy. I am advertising my beloved Honda Accord Type R Turbo this car has been built with no expense spared, the spec of the car reflects this, the engine spec is as follows

Engine spec:

The mileage on the car is currently at 132k rising slightly as the car is in daily use. The mileage on the newly forged engine is 5k. The car has a full service history, which upto 89k was carried out by Honda dealers and upto 121k was carried out by my local garage until I started the turbo conversion.

Since the turbo conversion the car has been serviced by a specialists whom built the engine due to it being highly modified I don't trust no one else to work on the car!

I am very reluctant in selling my Honda but due to my personal circumstances I need to sell. The bodywork on the car is in good shape for it's age there are a few minor stone chips on the front splitter and bonnet but overall in good condition. There is no rust on the car at all and the under belly of the car has been wax oiled. The car has been rolling roaded by romain at eurospec' 2000 and dynotech on dyno dynamics rolling road and achieved a very respectful 362bhp and 350ft lb which is running in very safe parameters of the engines capabilities. With a few tweaks and upgrades this engine can and will produce in excess of 400bhp however I do not have the time or money to get it there however it is not for the faint hearted with 362bhp!!

The car will come with a fresh 12 month MOT and tax.

Just to add Romain has mapped this, running 1.3bar I think, which is mild. Very very quick car due to massive amounts of torque throughout the rev range.

Pretty much has everything for a fast road / track car balance.

Sad to see it being sold, Rick has owned it for over 5 years now I think. I really enjoy driving this car, drives like a standard ATR until you put your foot down and surprise 997 Turbos.
