Hi Everyone!

My name's Josh and I have owned my ATR nearly a month. I bought M!chael's one after seeing it here: http://www.accordr.o...sh/page__st__20

Traveled from (near) Norwich to Edinburgh on the train and drove it home. Took all day but I love it, so worth it!

I have taken good care of it so far, lots of washes. As you can see from Michael's post, there wasn't much that I needed to do with the car, there's a few cosmetic things that need improving though. I have only had one problem with car so far and I'm not sure how it happened, but I think the previous owner had an after-market steering wheel fitted and didn't connect the horn cable properly, ended up snapping the connect behind the boss when I turned into full-lock. Luckily my local scrappy had a standard accord, had to take the steering wheel, boss etc off and put the new part on. Easy enough to work on though, still happy!

I polished her up today:

Welcome Josh  Seen this in the flesh a few times as it was a local lad who owned the car prior to M!chael's owning it, Was always a woman driving the car the previous owner was/is also a member here. You have a nice ATR there and god know's why M!chael's sold it :dunno: :agree:
One mans junk is an-others treasure wish you all the best with your new motor. Have you had Honda's before or is this your first?

Hi Craig and thanks. This is my first Honda, hoping to keep it for a long time to come. My previous car history is a little embarrassing, so let's not delve into that :p

A mate of mine owned an EP3 and I thought it was an awesome car, was going to get one myself until I discovered the ATR. I have a 2 year old and another on the way, much more "practical" as the missus says :)

Hello Josh, my parents live in Gorlestone, so not that far. Plus there is a few around your neck of the woods. ;)

Plus what wheel was fitted to the ATR before, after market? :dunno:

back when I was looking for mine I stupidly passed on a few silvers with 28 to 36k on the clock because I wanted a face lift black but they were scarce so I went for the best one for the money and it ended up being a satin silver 51 plate with 42k and I haven't looked back.
one thing I will say is that satin silver is one of the best silvers I have seen as most silvers are flat and dull and despite what people say you can get a decent finish when waxing one and it has a nice blue fleck that comes out when the sun hits it so you are in good company 8) :agree:

The paintwork is generally good on mine, shines up really well. There is a scuff on the front bumper and lots of stone chips on the bumper and bonnet and a couple of key scratches near the driver's door any tips for these? Is touch up paint worth the bother?
