I have owned the car for two years now and it has been absolutely faultless, it hasnt let me down once. The car was previously owned by a few members on the forum so you may recognise it. This car has been very well cared for all its life and has been enthusiast owned for a large part of that. Here are the details:
149,000 miles
8 Months MOT
Currently on SORN, Car was only sorned a week ago.
Good condition overall for the age and mileage, it is by no means perfect but it is one of the best exanmples i have seen.
I bought the car from a friend of mine with 138,000 miles on the clock. Before the car was even used by myself i replaced the cambelt, balancer belt, auto tensioner, rocker cover gasket and spark plug seals with genuine honda parts. I replaced the oil with Mobil1 and the oil filter with a genuine part. I rebuilt the front calipers with new seals and cleaned and painted all the brakes fitting new front discs and pads at the same time. I Cleaned out the EGR valve and plate and fitted a new egr gasket. Finaaly i cleaned and undersealed all four wheel arches.
At 139k miles the car had the front tyres replaced with Yokohama Parada spec 2's to match the nearly new rears and the front bumper was resprayed with the addition of the facelift splitter.
At 140k miles i replaced the NS headlight washer, Fitted jazz washer jets and sprayed the wiper arms satin black.
At 142k miles i had all four wheels refurbed and the Red H has been painted onto the centre caps.
At 143k miles i again replaced the oil and oil filter aswell as the fuel filter and the pollen filter all with genuine parts. I also replaced the rear droplinks and fitted a brand new set of genuine mats.
At 145k miles i had the headlights wet sanded and polished, i fitted the heavy set red silicon hoses and phillips 6000k HID bulbs. I removed the AC due to it not working and fitted new auxillary belts. I replaced the brake fluid with Motul RBF600 and adjusted the valve clearances. Finally I replaced the clutch and release bearing with a genuine honda kit.
The only modifications on the car are the heavy set silicon hoses and the LL airbox mod.
So as you can see the car has been very well looked after in the time i have had it, there is also a folder full of invoices from previous service history. I am a qualified honda technician so you can be sure the work has been carried out correctly.
The interior of the car is in good condition with minor wear on the drivers seat and steering wheel.
The bodywork is in very good condition with only a few minor car park dings. The rear bumper could do with a respray due to someone scraping it a few weeks ago while it was parked up.
