newbie from scotland/edinburgh

hi all looking to get an ATR in december i have one lined up already as i'm buying it from my neighbor it's a w reg on 115k nice and clean though but does have the 5th gear synch problem but not in reverse but it will be a step up from my current car a skoda fabia 1.4mpi with a massive 68bhp :D


also i wonder if any of the previous owners have been on here?

I'd budget to get the 5th gear syncro done as it will go eventually as crunching in high revs in 5th is an indication that it is on its way out... :(

Plus what's the reg or are they a member on here? :dunno: I would of thought you would of them if they were? :dunno:

Welcome! Just a thought may be an old clutch causing your crunch if its not been changed rather than the box

thanks for the welcome's the 5th gear is a very slight crunch as it goes in but it's minimal so he tells me i've had a lift in it and it does go really well

and the reg number is w194plh
