Hey I'm new to this forum although I have had some valuable feedback from you guys regarding buying a car in the last week or so.

I have managed to get myself sorted with a 01 silver with 100k. It was hard to find one with anywhere near this mileage even though it is 100k. Dark wheels just refurbed (sort of dark anthracite) not my cup of tea but will do until I pick up another set in white or silver. I also have a set of Mazda 3 sport wheels newly refurb end that I might stick on in the meantime.

Glad to hear you got sorted out mate. Was the car local or did you have to travel? Dark wheels on silver looks good but it's all personal taste. Any upgrades to the car or did you manage to get a standard one?

Yea I managed to pick up a local one near newtownbreda. The car is mint inside... I mean mint. The outside is really good but as u can expect a few marks but well pleased with it. There is a carbon wrap on the roof that I wasn't sure about (it isn't hiding anything) and I'm generally not keen on dark wheels but it is all already growing on me. Il get a few pics up later in the week when the weather turns. Can anyone tell me what the 2 buttons do in between the front seats near the bum of them?

Sorry Stuarty meant to say bog standard. The only difference I can see is it doesn't have the down turned tail pipes. It's November 2001 so maybe they didn't use them i don't know.

I have two switch blanks between the seats on the centre console is this where you mean?or actually on the seat itself? Glad to hear you found a car. Good luck removing the wrap on the roof I can picture it being a nightmare unless your keeping it on?

Was going to take it off, it doesn't look as good in pics as it does on and it's now starting to grow on me. I won't be taking it off (that's saying a lot from me as I hate stickers, vinyl or modifications on a car that serve no purpose). There are 2 buttons in the console and they definitely look like heated seat buttons, but surely that can't be right...

Mine are just blanks could possible be from another model of accord with that option. Didn't think you could get heated recaros. Would be nice though. Do you mean indicators on the left stalk? Think so mate mine are.

So far not having a whole lot of luck with this whole type r malarkey. last night the EM light comes on with the egr valve then tonight on my way home I had my first chance to stretch its legs and upon rather heavy acceleration it blew the exhaust off. Maybe half to go back to the transit van
