Hello from Northern Ireland New member

Hi all new member from Northern Ireland looks like a great website and hope I'm of some use to it, bought my first atr and love it it's the first vtec and honda I've had, plans are to leave the bodywork perfect as I'm a spray painter so should be easy enough slight rust on driver floor pan/chassis but only surface rust, find and fit a set of Evo 8 enkei wheels pictured on the civic below and change the grill to standard with a painted surround also pictured below, mechanically the car is sound it has 147,000 but good service history including fifth gear synchro replaced, have new timing belt kit and waterpump ordered and going on and full service this week, small oil leak over gearbox not sure yet where it's from possibly driveshaft seal? I have a cone filter induction kit which is in engine bay would an air filter out of the engine bay be much of an upgrade? I'm also afraid of water getting at filter if go that way?

Anyway plan on having lots of fun with it over summer and who knows could be kept for longer thanks for any comments/advice

Hello there I'm from NI also looks like a nice car you have got yourself. K&N typhoon is the intake of choice by most owners mine is full length all year round and touch wood I've had no problems and the UK gets lots of rain. Although it does make you more aware of large puddles. As for the evo wheels I had a set on loan while my oem wheels where getting painted and they fit but not well. They stick out too far past the arch roughly an inch at the front and scrubbed quite badly front and back. I didn't drive it just turned it round in the street outide my house. Best to try a set on before you commit to buying if you can. Or even a wheel the same size and offset.

Might invest in one is there a noticeable power difference?, that's probably why no images on google of them, could get the offset changed but a lot of work 😔 thanks for the welcome guys and girls 👍
