Hi Guys,

I'm selling my ATR due to my new job commitments.

I've had a lot of fun and memories in the beast but unfortunately, I've bought a diesel due to my daily commute and can't justify keeping three cars. She will be sorely missed but needs must..

The car:
92,000 miles
Full Service History (I've serviced the car myself so have invoices from Opie Oils)
MOT - June 2016 (No advisories)
2 Keys and 2 Fobs
Type R Wallet.
HPi Clear.

Last of the Pre-facelfit models
Nighthawk Black (Very rare colour for a pre) - Black with metallic blue flecks in the paintwork. Looks superb when polished in the sun.

Only been run on Tesco Momentum Fuel, Fuchs Titan Pro S Oil and Hamp Oil Filters.
Literally every receipts from new for parts and servicing.
Comes with all standard options found on the ATR which includes front electric windows, electric mirrors, Recaro interior, Type R kit, Xenon Lights, etc.
H22a7 Engine with U2Q7 Gearbox.

My Private is NOT included and will go with the original reg - X485 DLH.

Modifications:
Tein Superstreet Coilovers with Topmounts
Mongoose Cat-back exhaust
Solid Fabs Decat with spacer
K&N panel filter with resonator box removed.
Toy Racer Intake Blanking plugs with small filter on rocker cover.
Toy Racer Brake stopper.
XTD Lightweight Flywheel
VTECDirect solid Engine mount
Facelift grill (Have the original too).

Recent work:
Blueprint front wheel bearings
Blueprint ARB links and bushes on front
ARB Links on the Rear (Think they were FIA)
Polyurethane exhaust bushes
OEM lambda sensors (both) - supplied and fitted at VTECDirect.
Throttle Body, EGR Valve and EGR Plate cleaned recently with a new OEM TB gasket.
Had a Honda Battery fitted around 2 and bit years ago.
Bridgestone Potenza RE050 Tyres all round (fronts have probably covered around 6k, rears were fitted around 12k miles ago).

Gearbox was rebuilt at VTECDirect with the revised synchro along with new OEM Exedy Clutch and XTD Flywheel around 20k ago.
Cambelt/Tensioner was also done by VTECDirect around 25k ago
Metal cam end seal - these were done by the previous owner.

A few spares to go with the car including pre grill surround, cat for MOT and standard suspension.

Condition:
Mechanically 100% sound. No knocks or bangs from engine or suspension. Drives really tight. Engine uses very little oil (despite having had a seeping sump).

The bodywork has general age related stone chips and marks (mainly on the bumpers). Wheels need refurbishing,

Underside - no rot or holes. I've undersealed the arches but never got round to doing the underbody. Not been used over winter months and I had the underside steam cleaned when I bought the car. A bit of surface rust on the spare wheel area but nothing major at all - bulkhead is rot free. I'd look to have the underbody undersealed for future protection but definitely fantastic condition for the age.

Defects:
Please see below!

Summary:
Overall, she's a fantastic example for the age. Not Immaculate but a very good example and they are getting harder to find. One of the lowest mileage ATRs for sale on the market and the all important gearbox issue has been rectified with the revised synchro. The modification have made for a great Fast-road vehicle that can be used daily as the exhaust isn't too loud.

Price:
£3295

Hi Guys,

For everyone who had been in touch, the vehicle is now back up for sale due a time waster. I held the vehicle for him, ran around and worked on the car over my days off for the person to text me a day before to say he's not coming. Can I please stress that I have no time for timewasters and please only get in touch if you're serious. I work 5 days and I'm studying to complete my CIMA exams so I've got very little time at moment, let alone time to entertain time wasters.

On the plus, the vehicle is now ready to.

Last week on 93,000 miles she had:

Sump resealed.
Fuchs Titan Pro S Oil with a Hamp Oil Filter
Underside fully Undersealed - protected for may years to come now should you wish to use her in the winter.
Broken Stud replaced
Front OEM Honda Pads and Mintex Discs.
The front caliper was sticky (the car hasn't been used much over the last year) so was a refurbed item from Brakes International was fitted.

The issues with the vehicle are:
Wheels would benefit from a refurb.
Aerial has popped out of the runner (motor still works fine).
Age related wear and tear (I've taken pics of the worst) - please do bear in mind the car is 16 years old but still in amazing condition for the age.
The front splitter is slightly loose (i've only just noticed this - it won't fall off but hangs a bit low on one side. It just needs some double sided sticky tape as the glue has dried up).
Needs a polish/detail.

I took the car out last Friday and she drives like an absolutely dream. No knocks, bangs or smoke. Mechanically the car is spot on and has been well maintained regardless of cost. There's pretty much an invoice for every bit of work that has been done to the vehicle.

I had a few exhausts on the exhaust and it's not loud at all - a more mid sport note.

Here are some pics I took (not the best!) but I'll try and sort some better pics next weekend.

Hardly 'Silly' ..
It's been advertised a while now and at £3295 it's not sold due to the price - Looks a nice car but out of my price bracket for an ATR.

That's the price you need to pay for a good rot free example.

Should be nearer £3.5k with the mods etc in my opinion. There are so many dogs about now that good ones will start to appreciate in value.

I disagree- any asking price is 'negotiable' but posts fishing for a best price on an open forum aren't acceptable.

The price likely reflects condition/mods etc. You won't know if you don't contact the owner or go see it.......???

As above, I won't be talking money until the interested buyer is in front of me. The reason it hasn't sold is because I've been away, I held the vehicle for three weeks for someone who didn't show and it's xmas so people are broke

I'm back now and the vehicle is available to view - will hopefully get some better pics which I'm sure will help things along.

Thanks for the comments gents - let's hope she goes to a good home!

Cheers
