Hi,

Just joined. I've been reading a lot of posts getting myself informed on the ATR.
It's going to be a spare car to use once a week on my commute and at the weekends when I fancy a bit of fun.
They look like a bargain at today's prices but it seems you need to move quickly to nab one.
I've been looking for a few weeks now but the nice cars seem to sell in 2-3 days, often mid-week when I can't really get out of work.
Still, I'll keep my eyes peeled and hope a good one comes up close to me.
I'd be interested to hear how far other members travelled to buy their car.
cheers

Welcome Posted Image/> All 3 of the ATR's I have owned were delivered from down south as far as Essex to Scotland. 2 on a transporter and my first was from a Honda dealers that was driven up and they hired a car to go back, the other two were from forum members on here, I never went to view any of them but did pay top dollar for each of them.

wow, braver than me.
my current daily driver is the first car I've bought unseen but It was an approved used Mercedes, 3 years old with 50k, so felt low risk.
Maybe I just need to take the plunge on one that looks good even if it is a long way.
