Hello all,

I guess it's about time i introduced myself. Not really a new member since been here from -07 :lol: . I'm from Finland and I've had my Pirates Black ATR as a daily driver for almost 11 years. I think i'm fifth owner of it. This forums been exceptionally valuable for me in finding information and parts.

Oh, and one of my greatest heroes is from Finland...Simo Häyhä!

Checked it up and i'm actually the 4th owner not the 5th. If I rememeber right the previous owner told me all the earlier owners knew each other so its been sold from friend to another before me. Car really needs a good buff. Hopefully get it polished within the week so I'll try and get some pics then.

Yeah we got some nice twisties here and there and ATR's actually pretty darn good car in the winter in the snow with the LSD aswell! :agree:

Ahh, the White Death. Now he was an actual real life bad ass he was. 8)

Hello from the other Scandinavian side! Are there many ATR's in Finland? Norway and Sweden have a few but not to many.

Vilot - There were originally 10 ATR's sold from Honda back in the day. I'd assume thats the ballpark number of them around nowadays since its not really the most imported car. On the upside it still turns heads as a rarity here. :agree:

If you want to check out more bad asses another Finnish bad ass soldier was Lauri Törni / Larry Thorne fought and was rewarded in 4 different countries militaries before going MIA in the Vietnam.
