I bought this in September and it was advertised on here by a member of you think it looks familiar!

Honda Accord Type R 2001 2.2 first Petrol Registered September 2001, only 97k miles.


Standard model, which includes the LSD and HID lights.
Extras are rear electric windows and Air-Con.
2x keys and 2x remote, service book / book pack, lots of history.

Reg transfer complete V5 back, car is now available.

Details from the previous owner I purchased from:
First owner for 13 years, in very good condition and very well looked after.
Great daily driver, pulls really well and sounds terrific.

All normal wear items look in good condition, good front engine mount, power steering cooler pipes, no gear box problems, great seat bolsters etc.
It had Honda History when I bought the car, all from the same dealership.

I serviced the car myself (with Genuine Honda Parts) in May 2015(83k) and March 2016(88k) car now at 93K. 
Below is the work I have done to the car in my ownership, 

Replaced the Throttle cable (Honda part with receipt) 
Cleaned EGR valve and Plate Replaced Gear box Oil (Honda Part with receipt)
Replaced Coolant (Honda Part with receipt) 
Replaced brake and clutch fluid, 
New battery,
Air Con Regas,
Headlamps Polished,
Wax oiled
Air, Oil, Pollen, Filters, NGK Platinum Plugs (All genuine Parts) 
Purchased a set of 4 Refurbished alloys with new tyres from an owners club member, fitted approx 3000 miles ago. 
Front brake pads (Honda Part with Receipt) 
N/s Caliper (changed within the 3/4 few years) stripped cleaned and rebuilt. 
O/s calliper stripped and new pistons and seals fitted. 

The car has a solid bulkhead, the rust had started when I removed the body sealant but it is totally solid.
I have cleaned treated and waxoiled so should be well protected now.
I have pictures in the photobucket link, many hind the rust in this area just trying to be completely honest about this.

Bad points;
The handbrake is not holding as well, one side needs rebuilding/freeing off, It still holds at the top of its travel.
The auto level sensor rod is broken, I have only just noticed this (about £18 from Vtec Direct). 
Clutch release bearing can make a noise on uptake, no affect on the clutch operation and has been like this since I bought the car, I can drive and never hear it, the clutch does not slip.
Slight power steering fluid leak.
Rocker cover could do with repainting. 
The car has a small dent on the drivers door, and on the boot lid, both would come out. 
Paint chip on N/s of the bonnet (touched up) 
The car has had paint work on the front N/S/F (Bumper and then blended), looks fine but can be noticed on close inspection. 

Since I purchased the car as above I have had the handbrake and caliper fixed, the auto level sensor fitted and have had the car MOT'd at a cost of £500 as it needed a new front spring and some welding (I use a strict MOT garage). I have also fitted 2 new front tyres recently, Firestone Firehawk's.
Air con needs regassing I think.

I have also had a towbar fitted which you can remove if not required or not to your taste!

MOT until March 2018.

All the other areas are as expected of this age and mileage. 

Not many sub 100k original cars left in this condition.

Car is located in Garforth between Leeds and York. 
I am 5 minutes from Both the M1 and A1 motorways.
