Pete or any mods. Is the PM facility still working. I know a few people have said they can't PM me but my PM box is completely empty. Any ideas??

same here, people have tried me but no success and my in box is empty too

If they are completely empty then its for ED to sort as you should be able to receive 10 PM's like in the old days.

I fully understand, and neither would I. Private is private, and hence why I don't do social media. I didn't realise that once your inbox has been marked full that you couldn't send PM's either. Sorry.

same here I have no social media presence at all, haven't got the time to be honest plus I cant be doing with all the self indulgent bollocks that goes with it

Database is massive and croaking. I really don't want to open up PMs to unlimited because it'll take the site down.

Maintenance is run but it won't shrink under the 10GB mark.

To be honest it needs a new forum, new database and someone to import stuff over slowly by hand - or at least that's what I'm led to believe. But I don't have the knowledge (and to be honest I'm scared of it breaking).

I did relax the limit to a 100 or more, is that still not working?

Somebody must be able to run with that offer. Sadly I no longer do dev work, dropped back into QA testing as Ive gotten older and can no longer keep up. We must have someone on board that can migrate and rehost.

Ed, I’m talking with Stoo to see what we can do. Maybe add us as admin and see what we can sort out? I’ve admin’d forum before although not quite so technically minded, where as Stoo is a geek.

Things might be limited in what we can do though, some things like upgrades need server access and so on, but worth a go.

The place needs a general shake up a modernisation imo, but it would be great to get a proper club buzz going again.
