A mate from work told me he saw it on the M1 around J25/J26! I would've been sceptical but he knows his cars so everyone beware!! Mon afternoon at 2pm he said. I would've thought they'd be too old for the rozzers now but there you go! Who'd expect that though, an unmarked ATR! Cheeky f**kers give us a fighting chance!! (No offence BB!)

Yep, they still use them The guy on the front desk told me when i went to pick mine up for its service that they had the police ATR in that patrols the M1, apparently it was all coked up and slow.

They have alot of them in Coventry. All with low level spoilers and one with some crap aftermarket alloys.

Saw two of them parked up in town once with blue lights flashing.

I think it's the same one I chased from J24!

I just thought it was a normal owner, he was doing a tonne and I crept up on him at about 5 car lengths away I could see 'pods' in the rear window and instantly knew what the hell I was chasing... I slowly eased back down to 80 or so and let him pull away.

He knew what I was thinking and I can bet he saw me, but judging by his pace he was on a call so I got lucky.

traffic cars up here are jags or volvo T5 estates. nothing that exciting. and most normal police have ford focus's

i was told that essex police have one too i dont know how true as i've not seen it yet

We tried the Type-S accord, but it was deemed too slow for us. That said, the drug enforcement agancy unit use them..

Gloucestershire police have a Type-S accord they use for pursuit. But then, we all drive combine harvesters so they don't need the same performance...
