Is there a way to adjust the forum contrast?

I find the colour scheme to have to many colours very close to each other in hue and brightness.

and can you increase the overall font size somehow :dunno: , its too small

Hold down control and roll your mouse wheel, it upsizes the text. :agree:

I use the forum on my work pc, home pc an work laptop... it looks fine to my eyes. Perhaps it's your monitor? :dunno:

I think in the version of the forum software thats being run here there is only one skin and that's this nice cool light blue colour (which is low contrast, but looks ok on my laptop)

The newer version of the forum software comes with 2 skins - light blue and a darker one, which you can checkout if you take a look here http://forums.spywareinfo.com/

So basically unless the forum board of directors, sub committee members and other hangers on decide to upgrade the forum software.... low contrast, light blue it will have to be! :agree:

You could try tinted glasses? 8) :evil4:

I can work on a new skin, I did think about it.

However it's not a five minute job and takes a serious amount of time to get all the colours right especially if you get creative and use textures and images for borders and table.

I'll have a look around the net for some inspiration. :agree:

Laptop screens are naturally more suseptable to the blending as they don't have brilliant colour and contract definition, unless you have a high xblack screen or the like.

If you use the Opera web browser (my browser of choice). You can easily flip into high-contrast mode or zoom the page. It'll even read the website to you

www.opera.com free and not a hacked up piece of rubbish like firefox :sign11:
